Just like the song says, waiting is the hardest part.

Some days you just wake up to bad news it seems.  In an update on the official Playstation blog this morning, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced that the upcoming PS3 exclusive game from Team ICO, The Last Guardian, will not be available this holiday season.  Already a victim of several delays since its announcement years ago, The Last Guardian is now slated for a release some time next year.

As if that weren’t enough, SCEE also has stated that the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection will also be getting pushed back as well.  While this graphically upgraded bundle of those PS2 classics was originally intended to be released in April 2011, it has now slipped out of this month and into release limbo.  SCEE has not given official word on when gamers can expect the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection to be released.
