E3: Forza Motorsport 4 Confirmed

We could make some sort of pun about Forza "racing into stores," but we like to think we're above that.

Forza Motorsport 4

Oftentimes E3 tends to be the place where all those out there rumors about sequels bear fruit and this year is no exception.  Even though word of it was circulating strongly throughout the web already, Forza Motorsport 4 has officially been announced today for the Xbox 360.  A key part of the Microsoft press conference, the newest installment in the popular racing series has been confirmed for release this October for both North America and internationally.  In addition to the return of the popular community “car club” feature from the previous Forza title, Forza 4 will include the obligatory slew of new vehicles, tracks, and racing modes.

As an added bonus for those Kinect owners, Forza 4 will also take full advantage of Microsoft’s hands-free motion device.  Some of the listed Kinect-supported features include an interactive car showroom, head tracking for cockpit view during races, and voice commands for menu interaction.
