Mashcast #25: I Didn’t Scream. I Was Audibly Scared.

October 10, 2011

Dead Space 2

Real men don’t scream. They just get audibly scared. At least that’s what I tell myself when playing Dead Space 2. We talk a bit more about Dead Space 3 rumors, a man giving a teen troll what he had coming, the RAGE PC launch, XBL becoming the next gen of TV, and more.

Hosts: Jarret Redding, Robert Hill-Williams
Theme: “Insert Coin” – Chris Geehan of Hyperduck Soundworks

Check out this article: http://bit.ly/n58sgB. Do you think we need more game journalism like this? Asking the tough questions? Or do you think this guy was just being a douche?

I think this guy was being a little bit of a dick, but I do think there should be more aggressive journalism in gaming. Like you guys said, alot of it is just repeating PR points, not really alot of stuff gamers are concerned with or would want or need to know. The first place I’d like these reporters to go to is Tiburon and ask them why the sport of football is so poorly represented lol.
