Bastion Now Playable in Google Chrome; Getting DLC Next Week

Supergiant brings its full action-RPG to your browser.

Supergiant Games made a couple of exciting Bastion-related announcements today on its official blog. First up is that the action-RPG will be receiving its first DLC next week on December 14th. Included in the pack will be a fresh “Who Knows Where” segment featuring brand new content from everybody’s favorite narrator and the most arduous waves of enemies yet seen in the mode. The new content will also introduce Score Attack mode to the campaign and an easier mode in which gamers can pick up where they left off whenever they die.

Before you go complaining that the DLC sounds a bit light on the “C” part of the equation, it might be a good idea to take a look at the price: $1 or 80 MSP.

The other bit of news today is that Bastion is going to be playable on a new platform – your browser. Supergiant and Google have managed to get the entire game up and running in 1080p inside of Chrome. In a related story, I promise to stop laughing at browser games for the rest of the day.
