Square Enix has recently released new screen shots and images for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (man these titles are getting ridiculous). The new images feature some of the new critters that will inhabit the game called Dream Eaters. There are two different types of Dream Eaters: Spirits and Nightmares. The Spirits will be accompany Riku and Sora as they work toward their mark of mastery. The Spirits will help defend against the Nightmares that are going to be after our two heroes.

Square Enix also revealed some images about the Augmented Reality (AR) portion of the Kingdom Hearts 3D. The AR portion will be for playing with your Spirits that players can collect through the game. Here players can pet, feed, and play mini games with their Spirits. If players do this, it seems that  the Spirits might become more powerful. Check out the screenshots below, and keep in mind that Kingdom Hearts 3D is going to be released pretty soon on July 31, 2012.
