Mash Those Buttons

"Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No-one is more deserving of a rest. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes."

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

As best as anyone around the MTB executive offices can tell, Nick is some sort of half-mutant, half-machine hybrid that can produce a handful of quality gaming articles in the same amount of time it takes the rest of us to do something that, you know, doesn’t take much time to do. Don’t act like you’re not impressed. His make-believe powers are such that we were all too scared to tell him he wasn’t allowed to put this utter nonsense into his bio.

And now for the real story: a graduate of Rutgers University, Nick is an SEO Copy Writer for an online marketing firm by day and a Senior Editor here at MTB by night. He has been gaming since receiving a NES for Christmas back in the mid ‘80s and grew up arguing the merits of Nintendo over Sega on the playground. Today he enjoys playing games on all of the major platforms.

In the scant few free minutes each week that he isn’t working on content for the site, he is usually gaming solo or with girlfriend and fellow MTB writer, Jess Weimar. He’s also fiercely devoted to his beloved Philly sports teams but finds sports video games to be dull. Feel free to drop him an insulting line if you believe that your own opinions about a particular game, issue or company are magically more correct than his are.
