3D Realms Suing Gearbox for Unpaid Duke Nukem Forever Royalties

At this point, I don’t know how much more Gearbox can regret pulling Duke Nukem Forever out of the fire. In Canada there are laws that stop you from suing someone who saved your life — something 3D Realms should have taken into consideration when Gearbox pulled the game from over a decade of slow, painful death.

3D Realms is claiming there are unpaid royalties from the sales of Duke Nukem Forever left to be paid them, and is suing Gearbox to have those royalties paid. I can’t blame them for going for the lawsuit, though. They seem to have trouble making money by developing games; that’s for sure.
