Jer isn’t here due to technical issues, but the rest of the gang is ready to talk about Patch 7.1! First, no one’s really been taking part in Hallow’s End this year, instead focusing on the getting attuned for Karazhan and running the Emerald Nightmare. Blizzard’s scheduling has been weird lately with Withered J’im being repeated twice before being added to the World Boss achievement. Also, Rei, Eric, and Jer have had legendaries drop for them! Nomi’s cooking is getting better. Moroes is both a boss and a Class Hall Champion.

Death Knights have had some changes in Patch 7.1, but the Frost artifact is still missing. Falcosaurs were added in 7.1, and they bring World Quests and a new faction with them. Nick thinks all classes should have a Feign Death mechanic. Rei is happy with her Priest Buffs. Nick watched the leaked Nighthold cinematic. The gang discusses whether patch 7.1 came out too quickly, and this leads to Nick arguing for end-of-expansion content droughts. Finally, the gang gets to the Blizzcon hype!

They talk about what’s next in Legion. Nick wants to see a roadmap for patches from Blizzard. Nick also shares his theory on what patch 7.2 will contain. Perhaps Jaina and Kul Tiras? Weird Al was announced as the closing act for Blizzcon and he’s perfect! Thomas Middleditch will be hosting the cosplay and talent competitions. The gang speculates on Warcraft IV and whether Red Shirt Guy can replace Chris Metzen at Blizzcon. Also, maybe Diablo IV is coming? An announcement about Legacy Servers is not coming, though. All this and more on this week’s WoW! Talk!
