WoW! Talk! #80: So Much Salt
Its just Nick and Rei this week as they tackle the latest round of complaints about World of Warcraft. First, Rei discusses how raiding has been going in Nighthold, and gives a shoutout to all the players that have pugged with Order of Corrupted Souls this week. Nick joined the raid to run the Mythic Warlords of Draenor raids, which was sad because the entire expansion could be raided in a few hours. They also discuss which mechanics were difficult at level 110, with a special note on Blast Furnace in Blackrock Foundry. Nick is still working on his falcosaurs and describes how they can be used to level up alts. He also participated in Volunteer Guard Day, and this leads to a discuss about how the micro-holidays feel weird without having associated achievements.
YepX emailed in again, first to mention that you can get an Order Hall follower from the Brawler’s Guild, and also to point out that Legion is not the end of World of Warcraft. Nick agrees, but just points out that the game seems set to take a major shift after Legion. The community has been upset the last few weeks, and Nick and Rei discuss the lack of a Horde questline to pair with the awesome Anduin questline that was released recently. Despite maining Horde, Nick is fine with this as it is easy to roll alts, or even to just watch the movie on YouTube. They also review the controversy over the World Quest Group Finder, and how many people were upset when it was disabled due to bugs, although neither Nick nor Rei had any issues other than trying to use WQGF when it was down.
Additionally, they go over the highlights from last week’s Legion Q&A. Also in the news, Dark Mirror is a short story about Nathanos Blightcaller, and Beast Mastery Hunters are getting some changes in patch 7.2.5. All this and more in WoW! Talk! #80! Thank you for listening!
