WoW! Talk! #90: Patch 7.3 Thoughts (I Quest In Blood!!!)

September 19th, 2017

Patch 7.3 is out and the gang is finally here to talk about it! But first, Nick mentions the recent hurricanes and how Blizzard has released a charity pet, Shadow, with proceeds going to the Red Cross. Then, Rei and Eric discuss what they’ve been up to in game by going over all the content in 7.3. They talk about their time raiding in Heroic Tomb of Sargeras. Rei talks about healing an emerald nightmare group. Then they discuss their efforts questing in Argus. Eric mentions that he enjoyed the moment when Velen and Alleria battled Talgath, and Velen stopped him from escaping.

They briefly discuss the Mythic Dungeon Invitational, but cannot say much because no one has watched it. They then talk about the Lucid Nightmare mounts, and how Eric had to help Rei get through the Endless Halls part. Eric also complains about having to click on a chair when everyone else in the area was standing on top of the chair, making it hard to target. They also talk about the new Legion invasions and the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon.

After patch 7.3, Nick runs through the recent news. The Blizzcon virtual ticket is now available for pre-purchase. There will be weekly videos including behind the scenes vignettes and developer Q&A’s. The ticket will also cover ALL the panels from Blizzcon, including the voice actor’s stage. The virtual ticket also comes with two in-game mounts, the Orgrimmar Interceptor and the Stormwind Skychaser. They alone are worth the $40.

In other news, Prince Farondis has disappeared from Azsuna. Also, Blizzard has a new show Gladiator’s Summit, about WoW PVP and Arenas. Also, Blizzard has purchased a building in Los Angeles that will become the Blizzard arena for esports events.

All this and more on this week’s WoW! Talk!

Hosts

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Back Office Manager at MTB. She enjoys social gaming ( AKA gaming as a group IRL and GW / WoW ), cooking, anime, and spending WAY too much time organizing or making more spreadsheets.

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW
