The arcade style flight action game, brought to us by the great publisher Ubisoft, is back again with this second iteration of flight simulation and action. Ubisoft Romania developed the console/PC game title, and was published by Ubisoft. This game will take place after the ending of the first H.A.W.X. brought to us in 2009. The game will move to the Middle East where vast amounts of violence is breaking out due to the outbreak of various insurgency leaders in the many hot spots around the region. While taking care of the insurgency, the player will also investigate the disappearance of nuclear weapons. There will be 3 groups of military air forces: American, British, and Russian.
GOODNESS… GRACIOUS… GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!!! This is the phrase I want to keep saying every time I played through the demo of H.A.W.X. 2!! The action is great, and it seems I kept moving my head with the screen while doing constant aerial maneuvers. The locking onto of targets produces a sound that reminds those of the movie Top Gun. I kept saying a line from the movie every time I locked onto the target: “I GOT GOOD TONE, I GOT GOOD TONE…FIRING!!”
The game demo plays great on the 360, and will definitely be a great game when it is released later this September 2010. Those of you familiar with the series will feel right at home, along with some great new fighter planes, aerial combat, aerial bombings, and night vision missions, the game seems it will be solid.
