New XBox 360 Wireless Controller Has A New D-Pad

On Major Nelsons blog I just saw the new wireless XBox 360 controller with transforming D-Pad.  Apparently, there is now something on the controller you twist and the plate around the d-pad goes down, making it much easier to use the d-pad.  They also removed the colors from the X,Y,A,B buttons.  Why?  I have no idea.  Check out the video:

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

This new controller won’t be cheap though.  Expect to pay $65 for the play-and-charge bundle this November if you want in on this new d-pad.
