Three New Sh’mups Coming to the 360 (…in Japan)?!

Kotaku reported finding out that 3 of Cave’s arcade shooter games are having a home release in Japan for the x360 via the Japhei Game Blog.  The games in question are Do Don Pachi Dai Fukkatsu and a combo disc of Pink Sweets & Muchi Muchi Pork.  The report from Casey of the Japhei Game says the following about these releases:

[Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets]
Cave announced at the Matsuri Festival that the two Shinobu Yagawa produced shmups Muchi Muchi Pork and Pink Sweets will be released as a combo package retail disc on Xbox 360 next year.  The games will feature online score boards and arrange modes exclusive to the console port.  It was also announced that these games would feature no Xbox 360 upgrade in visuals unlike previous Cave produced ports.

[Do Don Pachi Dai Fukkatsu]
Cave announced at their annual Matsuri Festival that Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu will be getting a Xbox 360 port November 25th 2010.  The game will include Novice, 360, Arrange A, and Arrange B modes.  Also if you pre order you will receive a DLC card for 1.51 version which was shown at the festival as well.  I am assuming the BLACK LABEL version will be released at a later time as downloadable content. Look forward to shooting up the place in November!

For me, I am praying for a domestic US release of these 3 games for the x360 platform because I have a terrible soft spot for them.  If my Gundemonium review didn’t show that as a dead give-away, well…  You know now.  I will say if Aksys Games could get these games over much like how they did for DeathSmiles, I will be sold.  Hell, I will be so convinced that I may purchase a Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE (full Semitsu construction) or a x360 version of my Mad Catz Super Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition S FightStick JUST to play these games.

Here are some videos of the games in the above mentioned part:

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.
