Capcom and Marvel have apparently put together a wonderful little pre-order package with GameStop that was posted this morning. For those wondering about its contents, the package contents are listed in the image as a SteelBook case for the game with special artwork, a DLC voucher for Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath downloads, an exclusive comic and artbook, and a voucher for a free 1 month subscription to the Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited service. The complete package will retail for $69.99 for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
I will say that the incentives for $10 price addition for the bonuses are pretty good. Especially if the DLC character price model follows something close to the BlazBlue Continuum Shift model ($7 – $8 a character), Jill Valentine & Shuma Gorath would already be well worth it. Factor in that the Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited service for one month is about $5 if you do the yearly subscription or $10 if you pay month to month. That already is about $24 – $26 worth in free goods. I’ll probably personally pre-order this when I pick up my copy of Gran Turismo 5. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds is set to release on February 15, 2011.
