Indie developers rejoice! Microsoft has silently put the Indie Games back in the games section. No official word from Microsoft on why they decided to listen but the hope is that they realized alienating the indie developers was not a smart move. Their previous official position for moving the Indie Games in to the Specialty Shops section was that it would actually increase sales due to the number of visits to the avatar marketplace.
Indie developers are patting Microsoft on it’s back for this course of action.
