Productivity Killer: Warning Foregone

The classic boss rush shooter is "demade" and enhanced for browser play.

Some of you out there may be familiar with a game called Warning Forever from a few years back.  Originally developed by Kikoza Ohkubo, Warning Forever made its way around the internet and picked up quite a few fans.  A frantic mash between a bullet hell shooter and a boss rush mode, the little title presented players with one single goal: survive for as long as possible and take down as many bosses as one can manage.  It was a simple game, but that was part of the appeal.

Well those gamers who remember Warning Forever would do well to give its fan-created “demake” a try in the form of Warning Foregone.  Just like its predecessor, Foregeone puts players in the role of one little ship versus a never-ending barrage of progressively larger and larger crafts.  While at its heart Foregone looks and plays just like the original title it is based on, its creator Jakub Wasilewski has added a little more depth to the game.  Players who are particularly accurate with their shots, skilled at chaining combos, or simply good enough to reach the highest of stages will unlock achievements along the way.  In addition to being bragging rights, these achievements also unlock additional upgrades such as damage upgrades or spread shots to be used on repeated plays.

Whether you’re stuck at the office or bored at home, Warning Foregone is a neat little browser game.  Those looking to get a little bullet hell back into their peaceful lives can do so here.
