Elements of War New Gameplay Trailer

In the RTS Elements of War you control an army as well as the forces of nature.  In 12 different missions you will fight for your faction’s goal.  For more details on the actual game check out Robert’s post: Fight Your Wars with Weather in Elements of Battle.

Features of Elements of War:

Three Diverse Factions – Battle in a near-future America as the “Ravens” (the U.S. military trying to protect the secret experiment), the “EEB” (a European coalition that invades to capture the nature-based weapons) and the “Patriots” (a paramilitary force, fighting for their country’s survival) collide

Control the Weather, Control the World – Six weather-based weapons allow players to dominate and transform the battlefield with tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other elements of war, impacting supply lines, slowing troop movements and devastating the enemy

A Visually Stunning Battlefield – A modern graphics engine beautifully renders highly detailed units, while realistic destruction physics create a believable theater of war

Conventional and “What if” Weaponry – More than 40 realistic and fictional units and weapons from the American, Russian and European military arsenals

Challenging Campaign, Massive Theater of War – Fight across a challenging 12 mission campaign, each massive map offering diverse tactical challenges

In the latest gameplay trailer you get to see some of the vehicles being used as well as a taste of the how destructive the forces of nature can be.  Elements of War is set to release April 12, 2011.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.
