Ship Simulator Extremes, which is pretty self explanatory, has just released new downloadable content to extend the joy of sailing for players of this game. From VSTEP and Paradox interactive, this new addition adds ferries to the list of controllable ships. You will be able to control five different ferries and it reportedly offers hours more of game play. The full list of new features are listed below:
- Five new ferry types (fast, channel, river, etc) available in campaign, free roam, and multi-player mode
- Ferry specific gameplay: Ferry ramp & door opening for loading/ unloading, directional switch for two-ender ferries, etc.
- New ferry campaign featuring ten missions all over the world
- Ferry mission functionality added to the mission editor, allowing for creation and sharing of ferry specific missions
This new DLC is available for $19.99, while the base game is available in its regular form for $51.99. They can both be found on the official site. More information on all versions of the game can be found here.
