Brink Getting Patched This Week

An update is on the way for all versions of Splash Damage's FPS.

If you’ve been encountering lag troubles in the FPS Brink, some relief is on the way. At some point this week, a patch for all three of its platforms will address the lag problem. A rare freezing issue (that was apparently only experienced by German 360 players) will also be fixed. Bethesda’s blog explains that the update should even be applied to the PS3 iteration thanks to the PSN being back online.

On the PC side, a number of fixes are being introduced. The sound has been dropping out on certain maps will no longer be an issue. Problems with the server, graphical woes (particularly relating to Ambient Occlusion_, and character voices will also be corrected. Further details are available on the blog right now; the full explanation of updates will be published alongside the download.
