Classic Dragon Quest Titles Being Brought to Wii

Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Famicom & Super Famicom Dragon Quest I, II, III wins the longest title of the year award. Thanks for playing!

Fans of the classic Dragon Quest series will rejoice later this year as the first three games in the series are being released in a collection for the Nintendo Wii.  Currently, the release is being isolated to Japan only in September but the possibility of a North American release is possible later.  The mouth full of a title for this collection will be Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Famicom & Super Famicom Dragon Quest I, II, and III.  Here’s hoping that the title is shortened when the game comes to North America.

The bundle is very explanatory in its title; with it mentioning that it commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series.  The bundle includes the Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System here) versions of Dragon Quest I, II and III and the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) versions of the same games.  The SNES versions of the first two games were bundled together originally.  I know it seems a little repetitive to have the same games in there twice, but this is a very great and detailed bundle that will certainly be appreciated by fans.
