MTB knows that you’ve heard enough about the PSN for two lifetimes, so here’s some actual game-related news out of Sony’s camp. The cover art for Insomniac’s Resistance 3 has been released and it’s a real looker. In this era of cramming in as many media quotes, E3 awards, and space marines onto your game covers as possible, this minimalist design is a shining example of what a good cover should look like.
British artist Olly Moss handled the awesome design. The center piece is the large white Chimeran skull in which its menacing teeth are comprised of the New York City skyline. You can also make out Lady Liberty herself in the ‘a’ in Resistance 3. Hey, developers and publishers of the world: more like this, please.
