Spicy Horse and PopCap Unite

Spicy Horse and PopCap unite for free-to-play online games!

That’s right, American McGee recently announced that Spicy Horse, with the help of PopCap, will be working on creating 3D free-to-play online multiplayer games.  In an interview with Gamasutra, American McGee explained that they are working on 3D online games to focus on the growing casual gamer population.  With the three million dollars in funding PopCap is providing, they are hoping to have a game out about every six months.  They have yet to disclose any details of the game other than that it is going to be free-to-play and will launch in Asia first.  He also goes on to say that they are going to be looking into making these titles available for PC, as well as mobile devices and social networks.  So, in time, we might just start seeing Spicy Horse games on Facebook!  Personally I hope we start seeing these games soon.  For more details you can visit Spicy Horse or Gamasutra.
