Fresh off his stint as a piece of yarn, Kirby is back in a new 3D sidescrolling platformer for the Wii. The game didn’t make the cut for Nintendo’s press conference, but was instead quietly announced sometime afterwards. It is playable on the floor, however, and Nintendo has released the above trailer. Looks like our pink friend has been given some gigantic sword power-ups and a spiked-boot that recalls Super Mario Bros. 3. And yes, that damn unstoppable tree is back again. Wait, why doesn’t he just walk around it? In any case, Kirby Wii (great title guys) will be releasing this fall.
