E3: X-Com Gameplay Trailer

E3 hasn't officially started yet, but the alien invasion is already underway.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

2k’s X-Com reboot won’t be releasing until March of next year, but that hasn’t stopped them from giving it a presence at E3. In the new trailer, we get a glimpse into what gameplay will be like in the FPS.

After strange alien beings with glowing eyes disrupt the serenity of 1950s Anytown, USA, the government turns to its best: X-Com. Agents from the outfit are deployed and pop in and out of cover while firing upon the invaders with some strange, 50s sci-fi looking weaponry. The footage bounces around a number of times, but it does offer a clear view of some of the powers the aliens have at their disposal. It looks like would-be G-men will have their hands full repelling the invasion next winter.
