A new “build your own” racer is now available for iOS devices with steampunk fittings. PAN Vision and Fabrication Games have launched Ionocraft Racing, which looks like a stylized steampunk take on the concept explored in Modnation Racers. Not only are the cars steampunk, but the environments are as well. When playing, you’ll race against “Game Center” friends to achieve the high score, while controlling your vehicles with a touchscreen joystick. All kinds of modifications can be made to your vehicle, including armor and boosters, which are bought using money and medals from races. The iPhone/iTouch version is $1.99 and the iPad version is $3.99.
