Journey Beta Arriving on PSN Next Week

Some gamers will be taking the journey sooner than expected.

Thatgamecompany’s Journey has built up a lot of buzz around it, and has many gamers comparing its beautiful, minimalist look to the Team Ico games. While the game doesn’t launch until the fall, USA Today has discovered that it will, surprisingly, kick off a beta next week. That’s a pretty unusual move for a game such as this (shooters are usually the only console games to get betas). Nevertheless, this is apparently happening and USA Today is promising that they’ll have some free codes for it. Even if you’re not one of the lucky ones to get in on it, you can still look forward to some fresh news emanating from the trial run.
