Nintendo has a habit of hanging its home consoles out to dry during their final days. The GameCube’s release schedule was particularly barren down the homestretch. And it’s been looking like the same pattern will be repeated with both the Wii and DS. Many Wii owners are assuming that Skyward Sword and Kirby are pretty much the only upcoming Wii titles worth concerning themselves with. Meanwhile, DS owners are slowly making the transition over to the 3DS.
Nintendo wants you to know that, despite popular belief, they’ve still got plenty of other games coming for both platforms. In that spirit, they’ve now made the second-half 2011 release schedule a lot clearer. Scroll away to read up on all the latest dates The Big N has provided us with. Don’t get too excited, though — the major first party games don’t have precise dates yet.
