Release Date Announced for The Chosen

A closed beta has gone live and will run until the game launches in July.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Snail Games has announced that their free-to-play MMO, The Chosen, will go live on July 5. Snail promises that the MMO will include “immense customization options and adorably powerful animals to fight alongside [players] as they climb The Chosen’s colossal skill tree.” In addition, those who were able to gain access to beta codes, can experience early access to the game right now. The game takes place in ancient China amidst the throngs of war between three kingdoms and throws players into one of five factions: Qin, Han, Tang, Song or Ming. The title is Snail’s first major release since they launched Ministry of War in 2011.
