Classified as a casual game, Victorian Mysteries: The Moonstone is a mystery seemingly pulled out of an old detective novel. Oh wait… it was. Square Enix’s new title for iOS is adapted from a 19th century novel by Wilkie Collins, which is considered the first English-written detective novel. You will play as Detective Cuff, who is tasked with discovering the whereabouts of “The Moonstone“. This large Indian diamond was a gift for an 18 year old woman, and it is now missing after her birthday party. An obvious “whodunnit“, you will be tasked with finding out who is responsible with a whole party’s worth of suspects. This is the first Victorian Mysteries title to hit iOS, with subsequent titles being released previously on the PC.
