Crytek: It May Be Too Late for Vita

Crytek's CEO feels the Vita may be a lost cause for Sony.

Although it’ll be a while before Sony’s next handheld finally launches, that certainly hasn’t stopped those in the gaming industry from putting their two cents in.  In a recent article with Develop, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli came forward and admitted to being doubtful as to whether the Vita can succeed in the current market.  “I love Sony as a company, and we have great relations with them, but the Vita is going to have a hard time against the next generation mobiles and all the tablets,” he commented.

A number of quotes from Yerli paint the Vita’s future as being a troubled one.  Those interested in what Crytek’s CEO has to say can read his remarks in full over at Computer and Videogames.
