NAMCO BANDAI Games America has released Galaga Legions DX onto XBLA today and, if the above trailer is any indication, is likely to be every bit as frantic as Pac-Man Championship is. Looking less like traditional Galaga, and more like some bullet hell shooter from the far flung future, Legions touts new power-ups, modes, and the ability to use classic sprites from the Galaga franchise. The title is now available for 800 MSP with a Playstation Network release to follow shortly.
