Indie Developer Zeboyd Breaks Own Sales Record in a Week

You want to sell some games? Apparently Steam is your ticket.

Leave it to Steam to sell some games.  Those gamers familiar with Xbox Live Indie developer Zeboyd Games have no doubt played through their retro-RPG titles Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World (CstW).  Both titles are pretty funny and all-around fantastic, but you wouldn’t exactly call the studio a household name. Well that apparently all changed when Zeboyd Games began selling its library of games on Steam, as the developer has shattered its own sales record.

After a single week of sales on Valve’s digital download service, Zeboyd Games has already sold more copies of CStW and Breath of Death than it did during the entire eighteen month stretch the titles have had on the Xbox Live Indie Marketplace.  Leave it to a Steam store-front banner ad to get everyone’s notice.

The two games are currently available in a bundle package through Steam for the measly price of $2.99.
