In the year 2098, all the world’s resources are controlled by three mega-corporations vying for control of the Earth. All human interaction is done in virtual reality modules; this includes the combat module, Fray. In Fray players will control squads of four soldiers with unique classes, weapons, and abilities. In this turn-based game, you will assign moves and actions to your squad and once all players have entered their moves they will be played out in cinematic fashion. Will you be able to predict your opponents’ moves and attacks and counter them?
Fray will be available for pre-order in Q4 of 2011 through Brain Candy’s website. And for an added bonus, if you pre-order then you will gain full access to the beta, along with a free 2nd copy of the game to give to a friend. The full games is set to release Q1 for 2012, so keep an eye out here for more information as it becomes available.
