Star Fox 3D’s Box Goes Environmentally Friendly in a Fan Friendly Manner

Keeping Corneria blue, one box at a time.

You’ve no doubt noticed that game boxes have less plastic in them these days in an attempt to protect the environment save publishers money. Nintendo is taking a unique approach to plastic skimping with Star Fox 64 3DS in Japan. The little holes that would normally be vacant, have been filled in with images of characters from the game. It looks much nicer than empty voids, but there’s no indication as to whether or not the game will get the same treatment when it comes to North America on September 11 or Europe two days earlier.
