A blurb in the “Rumor Machine” section of this August’s Official PlayStation Magazine UK claims that a certain FPS series involving time traveling and monkeys is making a comeback. Specifically, they say that TimeSplitters 4 is going to be announced soon. There’s also a comment about those lovable firearm-carrying primates that you can see in the image above. Developer Crytek UK hinted back in November that the series could be due for a return, so this isn’t entirely out of the realm of make believe. The series has not had an entry since 2005’s third installment, Future Perfect.
