Transmission T²: Women React to Duke Nukem Forever

Offensive for more than misogynistic reasons

Duke Nukem Forever finally saw the light of day this year, and the reaction was probably not what Gearbox was hoping for when they saved the game from vaporware status. Sales for the game were decent, but it was panned across the board by critics, and found a fair share of controversy along the way.

Amid all the potty humor and terrible rape jokes, Duke Nukem was still being projected as the coolest guy in the universe. And all without a hint of irony, even though his status had obviously eroded since his last outing. Duke Nukem Forever’s most offensive slights, though, were…well, I’ll let these ladies (by way of a video from Dorkly) explain.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Offensive indeed.
