Uncharted 3 Beta Adds New Map and Co-op Today

Naughty Dog tweaks the playlist for the final week of beta testing.

The final week of Uncharted 3’s beta testing is kicking off today, and Naughty Dog is throwing in some new elements to mix things up a bit.  For starters, a new competitive map called Yemen, presumably set in the country for which it is named, is now available.  Yemen replaces the Chateau map that had been available for the previous two weeks of play.  In addition, beta testers can now experience cooperative play for the first time. Two co-op modes, adventure and arena, can be chosen from.

As an aside, you may also be interested to know that Naughty Dog will be running some sort of promotion that will allow select gamers to gain access to the full Uncharted 3 multiplayer experience in advance of the game’s launch.  The catch?  You have to go eat at Subway this October.  Yuck.  Sandwich standards aside, actual details on the program are expected to surface closer to October.
