Arc System Working on a Persona Fighting Game

This is what I call fan service.

Arc System Works has always been talented at coming out with some quirky fighting games, and if you don’t believe me just look at Guilty Gear and BlazBlue as proof. Atlus is another company that lives on the weird side of the video game spectrum, and Catherine is living proof that Atlus can make some weird games that sell.  Well fan boys and girls of the Persona series should be drooling with desire that Arc System Works is working on a Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena. Can anyone say nerdgasm? Now fans of Persona and Guilty Gear can come together to beat the crap out of each other. Arc System Works and Atlus are working to have the game in arcades in spring 2012, and have it be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in summer 2012. Not much is known about the game’s mechanics at this moment, but we will release more information on this game as it becomes available. ‘Till then fan boys and girls, you can start freaking out that you’re finally getting a Persona fighting game.
