Epic Releases Gears of War 3 Opening Cinematic

Anya brings viewers up to date on all things Gears.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Epic Games has released the opening video from next month’s Gears of War 3. There’s honestly not a whole to see for those who played the first two games in the series; most of the video consists of Anya recapping the events from those outings. Eventually she gets into the current situation and there’s some brief Lambent action.

That’s basically all there is to it. In other Gears news, the game went gold yesterday (Friday) and is on track for its September 20th release date.
