This coming holiday season GameFly is planning to add PC games to their list of rentals in what they are calling “Unlimited PC Play.” They currently have several publishers signed up to participate in their newest addition along with plans to add more. GameFly is not planning to have a digital only subscription though. Personally, I would have no problem with as long as it would be part of any level of subscription. Also, as long as customers have an active subscription they will be able to access any games they have downloaded. As stated in Joystiq‘s article “GameFly will launch the closed beta for the client on September 8 at a Los Angeles event, where attendees will receive a beta code for themselves and a friend.” As for those who don’t live in Los Angeles you can head on over to GameFly and request a beta invite.
