Gaming and Gadget Back to College Sale

So your kids won't be bored in their dorm rooms.

Relatively popular retailer Target has announced a “back to college” sale to start on August 7th.  As many of you may or may not know, this retailer also has a trade in program that gives you credit towards most items in the store.  Items that are trade-able are electronics such as games, game consoles and handhelds, and digital music players (iPod, Zune).

Some highlights of the sale are as follows:  Receive a free copy of Mario Super Sluggers for the Nintendo Wii when purchasing a Wii bundle (a $19.99 value).  The bundle comes with the console, a copy of Mario Kart, a Wii wheel, a Motion Plus remote, and a nun-chuck.  Receive a free copy of Uncharted 2 when purchasing a Sony PlayStation 3 160GB model and controller (a $29.99 value).  Select titles are discounted such as Call of Duty: Black Ops ($47 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 only), Michael Jackson: The Experience ($37 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 only), and Ghost Recon ($17 for the 3DS only).

Select Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 accessories will be 20% off.  Last but not least, if you purchase an 8GB iPod Touch ($225) you will receive a $25 gift card for Target.  Sounds like there are some good deals here, and there may be more on the official site.  There is no set ending date for this sale at this time, and of course all prices and offers are subject to change.
