Kalypso Media is looking to make some waves in the Windows PC market with its new 4x(explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate) space simulator Legends of Pegasus. The game will throw players in as the last surviving humans as they explore the outer reaches of space. Players can expect a deep economic, scientific, and diplomatic system to expand their empires. The game is being developed by Novacore Studios, and looks to be a promising simulator with some good features.
They are boasting a blend of turn based and real-time strategy gameplay and three different races of characters with 12 different factions in the universe of Legends of Pegasus. There will be an extensive single-player campaign with a high quality multiplayer section to add to replayability. The game will also support modding and tons of customization options for ships. Keep an eye on Legends of Pegasus between now and when it comes out sometime in the 2012 2nd quarter .
