Insomniac Games has announced that Resistance 3 has gone gold and is being pressed as I type this in preparation for its September 6th release. The team is still hard at work, though, and plans to release a day one patch for the title. (Don’t you just love those?)
In addition, those who pick up the game will find some extra trinkets on the disc. Demos for Killzone 3, Motorstrom Apocalypse, and inFAMOUS 2 are being tossed into the package. There will also be trailers and dev videos from the teams behind Uncharted 3, Starhawk, God of War: Origins, and SOCOM 4. But that’s still not everything. The smorgasbord of random cool stuff from Sony divisions will also include movie trailers and music videos from the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Incubus, Foo Fighters, and AC/DC. Get ready to rock out with your Auger out.
