When Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood arrived last November it was hailed for having a delightfully original multiplayer component to balance out its excellent single player. To date, Ubisoft has been mostly hush-hush when it comes to the multiplayer portion of its sequel, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
Well, that just flew out the window. GameTrailers was able to capture three fairly lengthy vids of a member of the Ubi team breaking down Revelations’ competitive play. There’s some new maneuvers, a new item in the form of the smoke bomb, and even a mode that is devoid of a radar. Other than that, you can expect plenty of sneaking up on Constantinopleans (Constantinopliacs?) and killing them all stealth-like before slinking back into the shadows. It looks to be quite reminiscent of the previous game’s multiplayer which, while hardly a bad thing, might come as a let down to some.
There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.
