Nexon America has just released the “Edge of Darkness” content update for their online RPG Dragon’s Nest. This is the third content update released for the game, which is still in its open beta stage. In this new update, players must defend the Goddess Statue against waves of enemies who incrementally increase in strength. Although the task is hard, the rewards that can be gained range anywhere from special items to prestigious titles.
Also included in the update is the Daredevil Faire, which is a themed area that is carnival-like. Gamers can play in a variety of themed dungeons and also see where they can be placed in the Daredevil Derby, which allows you to race against friends on a rented horse. There is a new PvP ladder system that assigns a ranking system which will allow players to see where they stand against others, and in turn be more appropriately matched with those of similar ranking in game. Last but not least is the addition of new costumes, which is always fun.
