Fridays in the Key of Geek: Woodkid – ‘Iron’

The music backing the debut Assassin's Creed Revelations trailer

This was originally posted ages ago on our MTB Tumblr, but somehow fell through the cracks and didn’t become a Key of Geek here. Today we’re correcting that grievous oversight and sharing the full version of the Woodkid song ‘Iron’. The video attached is not the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer that the song has become so associated with, but instead the official Woodkid music video.

In either case there’s an assortment of deadly armaments and a willingness to use them by participants. There’s much less (read: none) of the Old Man Ezio™ acrobatic deadly ninja action present, but plenty of slow-mo interpretational warfare to take its place.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Woodkid is also known as Yoann Lemoine and, outside of his musical works, is a film director who has directed music videos for artists such as Taylor Swift, Moby, and Katy Perry. His works, which also include ads and short films, can be seen at his website.
