Max & the Magic Marker ‘Gold Edition’ Gets Official Release Date

PAN Vision's platformer heads to the PSN.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

The gold edition for Max & the Magic Marker has been given official dates to release on the PlayStation Network.  The game has been more or less already released on iOS devices, Nintendo Wii (digitally), PC and Mac. But now fans can enjoy the title with high definition graphics and PlayStation Move controls.  It is essentially a puzzle platformer, and will be expanded upon in this gold edition release.  Features of the gold edition include:

  • 58 levels
  • Three cartoon worlds based on children’s drawings
  • “Dynamic drawing capabilities with realistic physics”
  • Puzzles, traps, and monsters
  • Unlockable rewards, challenges, and secrets
  • High definition graphics (1080p)
  • PlayStation Move compatible

Max & the Magic Marker will be available on the PlayStation Network in Europe on September 28th and the United States on October 18th.  It will also be available via download through select digital outlets on Mac and PC at a later date.
