The title says it all. If you walk into a Blockbuster and purchase Gears of War 3, you will be eligible for one month of free rentals from Blockbuster. Blockbuster is trying to get back on gamers’ radar and they figure attaching themselves to one of the biggest releases this year is the way to do it. I have to admit, that’s not too shabby.
However, last I checked Blockbuster was going out of business. All of my local Blockbusters were closed months ago. So I guess if you are lucky enough to live some where that a Blockbuster still exists, you may want to check this out. That is, if you’re into Gears of War and rentals I guess.
