Red Orchestra 2 ‘Scorched Earth’ Tourney Announced [Updated]

Winning team will take home eight grand.

UPDATE:The tournament organizers have informed us that there is no solid date for the tournament yet, but they are tentatively targeting October 21st. There have been a flurry of sign-ups so far, and the registration period will end on September 30th.

ORIGINAL STORY: Developer Tripwire Interactive is teaming up with online gaming organizer Forgotten Honor to hold the first tournament for the recently released Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. There will be several rounds of matches in both the USA and the UK before the winning team from each country squares off against each other for the grand prize of $8,000. The runners-up will be awarded half that amount.

For more details, you’ll have to head on over to the tournament site and sign-up. The exact dates have not yet been released. We reached out to Tripwire in regards to the timing of the event, but have not received a response as of press time.
