There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.
Remember when Guilty Gear: X2 was popular? And then they made so many revisions (over half a dozen) that by the end everyone was exhausted by the franchise? Well, it looks that series’ spiritual successor is aiming towards a similar goal.
Not to sound like total pessimists, the truth is we here at MTB are always looking forward to more BlazBlue – albeit in preferably less iterations. The series which has thus far appeared on every current system (save the Wii) has a new installment coming next year to the Playstation Vita. Today it has also been announced that BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND will be getting a North American release on the Vita as well as a home-console release in 2012. If the previous BlazBlue releases are any indications, the 360 and PSN updates will be served as downloadable content.
So what’s new to EXTEND? Fighting game fans can expect to see the usual features for the series’ revisions: a new playable character (Relius Clover), a few new modes including online team battles, some extra story bits, and a rebalanced character roster. While the above trailer is in Japanese, diehard fans of BlazBlue can get a quick peak at Relius at the top of the page.
